The minute they walked in the bakery, Zoe knew what was missing in her life. Them. It took a second for Zoe to realize that Liam was with Brent. Inside she was jumping up and down, her head reminded her that they left without even saying goodbye.

“Liam?”

It wasn’t fair, thought Zoe, that he looked even better than he did before.

“What are you doing here?”

“As soon as you left the hospital, I called him,” Brent admitted.
